What this site collects

What Meta receives, and only if you accept

If — and only if — you have accepted cookies, your VIP sign-up is sent to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd to measure how our advertising performs and to show you more relevant content.

No data is sold or rented. Apart from what is described above, nothing is passed to any third party for advertising purposes.

YouTube API Services

The Damian William YouTube channel is managed by an internal tool called MixClip, which uses YouTube API Services. The tool is private: it is not offered to anyone, it manages exactly one channel — his own — and its only user is the owner of that channel.

By using YouTube API Services, this tool is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What the tool accesses, with the explicit authorisation of the channel owner, granted through OAuth:

No YouTube data about any other channel, creator or viewer is read, stored or displayed. The tool does not crawl YouTube, performs no searches, and harvests no public data. No data obtained from the YouTube API is sold or shared.

The channel owner can revoke this authorisation at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The tool then immediately loses all read and write access.

Meta API — Instagram and Facebook

The Damian William Instagram account and Facebook Page are managed by the same internal tool, MixClip, through the Meta Graph API. The tool is private: it is offered to no one, there is no sign-up, and it operates only on accounts owned by Damien Chapus EI.

What the tool accesses, with the explicit authorisation of the account owner, granted through Facebook Login:

What the tool stores is deliberately minimal: the identifier of a comment it has already answered, and the identifier of a person it has already welcomed. Those two lists exist only so that no one is ever answered twice. No names, no direct message content and no profiles are stored.

What the tool does not do, and cannot do:

Meta’s handling of data is described in its privacy policy. The account owner can revoke this authorisation at any time from his Facebook settings; the tool then immediately loses all access. Anyone who has received an automated message can ask for their identifier to be erased: see the data deletion page.

Pinterest API

The Damian William Pinterest business account is managed by the same internal tool, MixClip, through the Pinterest API v5. The tool is private: it is offered to no one, there is no sign-up, and its only user is the owner of the account.

What the tool accesses, with the explicit authorisation of the account owner, granted through OAuth:

No Pinterest data about anyone else is read, stored or displayed. The tool does not crawl Pinterest, performs no searches, reads no third-party followers or Pins, and harvests no public data. No data obtained from the Pinterest API is sold or shared.

Pinterest's handling of data is described in its privacy policy. The account owner can revoke this authorisation at any time from their Pinterest settings; the tool then immediately loses all access.

Where the data lives, and for how long

Everything is hosted on a dedicated server rented from Hostinger International Limited, currently located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in a private database no one else can access: the host provides the machine, it does not read the database. That server is therefore outside the European Union; if that is a problem for you, write to [email protected] and your data is erased. Email addresses are kept for as long as you stay subscribed, and are deleted on unsubscribe or on request. Social account data belongs to its owner and is retained under his own authorisation; it is deleted on request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, receive it in a readable format, or object to its processing. Write to [email protected] — an answer comes within 30 days. If it does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
