Summer BBQ House DJ Mix is a sixty-minute funky disco house journey built for the outdoors, for long afternoons, open doors and food on the grill. Eleven tracks, one simple idea: keep the groove warm and let people move without thinking about it too much.

Things begin with Daft Punk and Musique, a filtered, loose-limbed opening that sets the tone before Purple Disco Machine steps in with Devil in Me and the party properly finds its footing. From there the energy builds through Gym Tonic and Claptone's I Write Your Name, then hits its stride around the Purple Disco Machine extended remix of Fatboy Slim's Praise You, where disco strings and house drums do most of the talking. Yo and Thoma Cher's All You Need carry that momentum into the final stretch.

The last twenty minutes ease back toward the end of the evening. Encore, in the Mousse T. remix, keeps hips moving while the light drops, and the set closes on the JUST BONNIE remix of Bill Withers' Ain't No Sunshine, that familiar vocal stretched over a soft house pulse to send the night off gently.
