Melodic Techno Live Set at the Studio
Damian William · 1 h 03 · January 2024 · 13 tracks
Thirteen tracks, sixty-three minutes: this melodic techno live set recorded at the studio follows a single arc, from first contact to last breath. Damian William opens with Anyma & Cassian's Save Me, letting the vocal settle before Discopolis 2.0 in the MEDUZA remix widens the room and the CamelPhat extended take on London Grammar's Lose Your Head pulls the whole thing into motion.
The middle stretch is where the set finds its weight. Yotto's Nova sets the tone, then Skin with Laudic and Einmusik's Funkenflug push harder on the low end, before Cassian's remix of Nova returns the same melody with more pressure behind it. Subterranean, by Miss Monique & Avira with Luna, holds that peak without letting the tension slip.
From there the energy is slowly released rather than cut. Hold On by Senses Of Mind and Kaudron's Nouba keep the pulse steady while the melodies take more space, Axel Sol's My Side softens the edges, and the set closes on Manu Cerasa's Influencia
e the last arpeggios left running until there is nothing else to say.
